ROSEMEAD PLACE: MULTIFAMILY EFFICIENCY RETROFIT

For the refinancing of their green loan, the lender required at least a 25% energy & water savings. Aging systems, leaking pipes, and deteriorated insulation had to be addressed.

Green Econome upgraded the domestic hot water (DHW) with 96% efficient, tankless water heaters. Pipe insulation was replaced with new self-sealing insulation, providing longer life. Low-flow water fixtures and LED lighting was installed in units, while LEDs were also installed in the common areas and underwater pool lights. The single-speed pool pump was replaced with a more efficient, variable-speed pool pump.

Green Econome was able to help our team navigate our green loan requirements at this property. Not only did they install the efficiency measures, but they managed city permitting issues and incentive applications. Thanks to the project cost savings earned, we were able to allocate funds to improvement projects at other locations.
