About the project

CORBIN AVE: OFFICE BUILDING LIGHTING RETROFIT

Finding efficiency solutions that fit the owner’s financial budget, while offering sustained energy and cost savings was at the center of this project.

Through a whole-building LED lighting retrofit, Green Econome saved the property owner 21% in energy and nearly half the project cost through the LADWP CLIP incentive. In addition, water sub-metering shaved 93% off sewer charges, with a five-month payback period. The ENERGY STAR® benchmarking has improved from a baseline score of 64 to 75 and above, earning the building 2023 ENERGY STAR Certification.

MARIKA ERDELY, GREEN ECONOME

Saving our client energy and money, especially during Southern California heat waves, was of utmost importance. Especially as energy rates increase, we are happy to see that the greatest delta in post-project savings is during the summer months.
